Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy for Joe Maza app projects.
Effective date: May 7, 2026. This plain-English policy is for personal apps and software projects by Joe Maza.
Overview
Joe Maza apps are personal projects. Data collection is intended to be minimal, practical, and limited to what the app needs to work for you.
Business card/contact scanner
For the business card/contact scanner, scanned card images and extracted contact details are processed for your own use. The purpose is to help you review contact information, save it to your iPhone Contacts, and optionally prepare a follow-up message.
On-device data
For the current version, app data is intended to stay on your device unless a future feature clearly explains that information will be sent somewhere else. There is no login, cloud account, analytics service, or advertising tracker planned for the first version.
Camera, photos, and contacts
- Camera access is used only to scan a card or related image you choose to capture.
- Photo access, if requested, is used only when you choose an image for scanning or saving.
- Apple Contacts access is used only when you choose to save contact information to your iPhone Contacts.
No selling or advertising tracking
Personal information is not sold. The apps do not use advertising tracking unless a future version clearly discloses that change before it is used.
Future changes
If an app later adds cloud sync, analytics, account features, payments, or other data sharing, this policy will be updated to explain what changed and why.
